Clinton County Job and Family Services (JFS) thanks the St. Columbkille Knights of Columbus for their generous contribution to the Clinton County Foster Children’s Trust Fund. This fund is used to provide for children in ways that state, federal, and local funds cannot. The fund provides opportunities for foster children such as camps, school activities, and sports and vocational equipment. These proceeds will also assist with foster children’s beds, school supplies and Christmas gifts. The fund is part of the Clinton County Foundation and is independent of the agency. Pictured with the JFS staff is Bob Schaad, front row behind the oversized check for $7,545, representing the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus Wilmington Oktoberfest proceeds this year assisted not only Clinton County foster children, but also Project Trust.
