County govt. offices

close early Dec. 22

Clinton County government administrative offices will close early at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22 due to Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday.

The early closure affects offices at the county courthouse, at the County Annex Building on South Nelson Avenue in Wilmington, as well as the Auto Title Office and other county government agency offices at the County Administration Building located at 180 E. Sugartree St. in Wilmington.

Take note that the early closing does not include the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), which is a state government office that’s located inside the County Administration Building located at 180 E. Sugartree St. The BMV will remain open on Friday, Dec. 22 for its normal weekday business hours until 5 p.m.

The BMV also will keep its regular hours on Saturday, Dec. 23 and Saturday, Dec. 30. Its Saturday business hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

However, keep in mind the County Auto Title Office will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 23 and Saturday, Dec. 30 because of the Christmas and New Year’s holiday weekends.

Green graduates

from USAF basic

U.S. Air Force Airman Isaac A. Green graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Green is a 2017 graduate of Clinton-Massie High School.
