East Clinton FFA Finishes Top 5 in State Parliamentary Procedure

The East Clinton FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure team competed in the State Parliamentary Procedure contest at The Ohio State University on Dec. 16. In parliamentary procedure, the team has to officially run a meeting using Robert’s Rules of Order as well as take a test and respond to oral questions. The team of President Holly Bernard, Vice President Carter Carey, Secretary Marci Ellis, Reporters Paige Bowman and Alexis Taylor (not pictured), Treasurer Trenton Garen, Student Advisor Maggie Mathews, Sentinel Devon Slone and Member Quinten Tolle competed and placed fourth overall in the state and earned a banner for East Clinton. The team previously qualified by placing first at Sub-Districts and second at Districts. The team thanks all the teachers, parents and helpers for their support in this contest.
