2 federal offices here shut down

Two federal government offices in Wilmington were shut down on Monday due to a lapse in federal funding: the Farm Service Agency plus the Natural Resources & Conservation Service (NRCS). At last report, it appeared that a resolution to the funding situation would be reached later on Monday. Both the Farm Service Agency and the NRCS are parts of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
