Clinton-Massie inducts 36 into National Honor Society

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – Clinton-Massie High School celebrated the 53rd Annual National Honor Society Induction Ceremony this past Sunday, Jan. 28.

As the ceremony began, current honor society president Andrew Garrett spoke about the Light of Knowledge and lit a candle symbolizing that light.

Continuing the Light of Knowledge and speaking about the pillars that are the foundation of the honor society, Andrew Houseman spoke about scholarship, Kelsey Carter leadership, Alana Smith character, and Carlie Harris service.

During the induction ceremony, friends and family members of influence came forward to honor candidates as they participated in the candle-lighting ceremony. The new members pledged to uphold the honor society’s purpose and to be loyal to their school while maintaining high stands of character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Students inducted into the National Honor Society at Clinton-Massie for the 2017-2018 school year include: Lindsey Amberger, Tyler Beam, Emily Brausch, Jennifer Callewaert, Max Carnevale, Hailey Clayborn, Haley Conley, Faith Cottrell, McKenna Crawford, Luming Mei Davis, Emma Filipkowski, Logan Fisher, Taylor Florea, Nathan Gibbs, Tyler Greathouse, Zachary Hammonds, Kylie Harvey, Connor Hendrickson, Allie Houseman, Emily Ireland, Paige Kleinholz, Hunter LeForge , Jason Martin, Raelynne Mason, Jakob Meranda, Dylan Merrill, Ryan Miller, Peyton Newport, Izabella Pinardi, Emily Rager, Jalen Richardson, Valeria Ryahovskaya, Seth Schmidt, Seth Stiverson, Spencer Voss, and Erica Wright.

Current CM NHS members who were previously inducted during the 2016-2017 school year include: Noah Brausch, StefaniRae Brewer, Julieana Burton-Hay, Levi Campbell, Claire Carruthers, Kelsey Carter, Elijah Cole, Kayley Coletta, Gabriella Conner, Lauren Ellis, Tori Flanigan, Andrew Garrett, Jade Harrell, Carlie Harris, Cathryn Hodge, Maggie Holderman, Andrew Houseman, Katie Hughes, Alexandria Juniet, Taylor Kropp, Morgan McIntosh, Ashlie Miller, Logan Reese, Alana Smith, Hailey Stinchcomb, Anne Thompson, Trey Uetrecht, and Megan Wonderly.
