WNJ welcomes The Witness

0

Staffers with The Witness, the student-run online newspaper at Wilmington College, visited the Wilmington News Journal offices this week where News Journal Editor Tom Barr spoke to them about community journalism in Clinton County. The college students, in the tradition of journalism, had their own questions. Barr is seated at his desk, with The Witness staffers standing, from left, Layne Frederick, Aaliyah Compton, Samantha O’Brien, Maraya Wahl, Sam Stanley and Grace Barger. The meeting came about when WNJ reporter John Hamilton interviewed The Witness staffers for a feature story several weeks earlier.
