WILMINGTON — The Spring Clinton County Farmers Market returns Saturday, March 17 with Special St. Patrick’s Day activities for Kids.

The Spring Clinton County Farmers Market returns 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 17 to the Municipal Building Community Room at 69 N. South St. in downtown Wilmington

The market will be holding a special St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt for children ages 5-12 accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Each child will stop at the market table to receive a scavenger hunt card. Once the child completes the scavenger hunt with the market vendors, they will return to the Market table to receive free tokens to spend on food items. Children are encouraged to become their own shoppers making selections of their favorite vegetable, fruit, or food items with guidance from an adult to make healthy choices.

This activity is made possible through the generous support and sponsorship of HealthFirst of Clinton County and the Ohio Farm Bureau.

During the spring markets, vendors will be offering seasonal fresh produce, meats-beef and pork, farm fresh eggs, homemade baked goods, herbs, handmade jewelry and other artisan crafts. All products sold at the market are locally home grown or homemade in Clinton County or an adjacent county.

This will be the last market before the Easter holiday, so customers are encouraged to stock up on items during the March 17 market day.
