BLANCHESTER — Three people were charged after Blanchester police and EMS responded to a drug overdose call Wednesday, police said.

At around 1 p.m. officials responded to apartment 204 at 905 E. Cherry St. in the Friendship Acres complex, said Police Chief Scott Reinbolt.

“An officer arrived and found three individuals inside the apartment, along with a quantity of marijuana and various pieces of drug paraphernalia,” said Reinbolt. He said no one at the scene required medical treatment.

“Evidence obtained at the scene provided evidence that all three individuals had used the drug paraphernalia that was present to ingest methamphetamine,” he said.

He said that, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, were Caila Woods, 26 and Larry Helton, 28, both of Morrow, and the tenant of the apartment, David Miller, 51

He added they will answer the misdemeanor offense in the Clinton County Municipal Court.

Police say these items were found inside the apartment.
