WHS FFA strives for lofty goal

0

This year the Wilmington FFA set up a sales booth at the most talked about football game of the year, the WHS and Clinton Massie Backyard Bash. WeThe club advertised and offered products for sale from theirannual fruit fundraiser — wreaths, roping, poinsettias, jerky, barbecue sauce, apples and a large variety of fruit. Their goal of setting up the booth during the game was to reach out to their Massie friends as their school does not have an FFA program. This year they are reaching higher and setting a goal for $40,000 in sales and higher. They have already reached over half of the goal with the sales campaign a little more than half over. If anyone did not get a chance to come see the at the game, there is still plenty of time left. Sales will officially conclude on Nov. 11Wilmington FFA. Please contact an FFA member or call the FFA office at 937-283-7222 and leave a message with your contact information.
