A veterans recognition program was held Thursday at the Wilmington Savings Bank Clinton County Senior Center. The event included a pinning ceremony, gratitude from Wilmington Mayor Randy Riley on behalf of the community, a talk from U.S. Marine Corps veteran Grant Carter and a sing-along of the songs of the military branches. Other local veterans recognized at the public event were Sid Clay, Charles Lakatos, Ron McKee, Don Myers, Kenneth “Rocky” Rothwell, Rick Schaefer, Harold Schnatz, Sandy Souder, Bill Swartzel, Bob Thomas, Joe Trapp, Charles Bush, Donald Wyatt, Charles Scanlon, Joseph Wilson, Paul Butler, Russell Smith, Richard James, Nick Babb, Richard Baker, Kenneth Beal, Robert Brown, Jim Cook, Larry Cordrey, John Dailey, Fred Flint, Rick Foster, Walter Hank, Bob Holmes and Bob Kelley.
