WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department and Clinton County Sheriff’s Office will team up to host National Night Out.

On Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6-8 p.m. Clinton Countians are invited to J. W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 35rd Annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Wilmington Police and Fire Departments will be showcasing their department. Each will have items on display to look at, use, and learn about.

MED Flight will be there. Also, Clinton County Youth Council will be part of the event with Frisbee Golf.

Food available and balloons and other items for the kids will be available.

And this year the departments are excited that Kona Ice has agreed to attend and provide shaved ice to guests.
