Toastmasters sets celebration, open house

WILMINGTON — You’re invited to visit Wilmington Expressives Toastmasters for their 15-Year Anniversary Celebration and Open House 6-8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27 at the Wilmington Municipal Building Community Room, 69 N. South St.

The event will feature special keynote speaker Kay Fittes, presenting “Kick Your Success Roadblocks to the Curb.” This topic will relate to men and women, detailing how to defeat the common self-sabotaging workplace habits that can be derailing to a career.

Fittes has presented to over 50,000 women and men at conferences, corporations, non-profits, and public seminars. Fittes is the author of “Achieving High Heeled Success: 50 Ways for Career Oriented Women to Succeed”; is the co-author of “Go Ahead and Laugh”; and creator of the CD “Panic to Power: Swift and Simple Speaking Strategies Anyone Can Use.”

It’s a great time to visit Wilmington Expressives Toastmasters to share some great food, and experience a dynamic Toastmasters meeting.
