WILMINGTON — The 25th Annual Walk for Life, with the theme “Choose Love”, is set for April 27 with a goal of raising raise $50,000 that will be used for the general operating fund of the New Life Clinic.

The New Life Clinic, Clinton County’s only pregnancy and parenting resource center, is striving to be the first choice in parenting, pregnancy, healthy relationships and sexual health concerns. “NLC is committed to upholding the value of human life by educating, encouraging, and equipping our community. Each member of the New Life family plays a vital role in making a difference in the lives of those seeking help and in choosing love amidst a culture of conflict and hate” according to the organization.

New Life Clinic is a non-profit organization that was established more than 30 years ago to provide a place for those facing unplanned pregnancies to learn about their options and find hope in their circumstances. Today, the Clinic serves anyone facing pregnancy, parenting, and sexual health concerns by providing medically accurate information and positive support.

All services are free and confidential. These include sexual health education, pregnancy tests, early ultrasounds, options counseling, prenatal vitamins, essential baby and maternity items, parenting support and education, community referrals, and post abortion recovery. On average, nearly 1,000 clients are served each year.

To help support New Life Clinic by walking or supporting the Walk for Life fundraiser, they encourage individuals, businesses and churches to participate.
