The Jefferson Jets 4-H Club met on Saturday, March 25 for its third meeting of the year. Members finalized their paperwork and project choices for the 2017 Clinton County Fair.
Led by Vickie Wagner, a club advisor in her 41st year, the Jefferson Jets have been meeting since 1976. Assisting Wagner this year will be Jensen Pierson, Beth Finken and JA and Danaye Franek. This club typically consists of about 40 members who take on a large variety of projects.
This year members will complete quality assurance trainings, community service projects, demonstrations, judgings, in addition to the fair.
The next club meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 1. Members will work on their knowledge using the county’s skillathon kits.
