Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band The Fortunate Sons was involved in a four-car pile-up on Sunday after their show at the Murphy Theatre Saturday night.

The accident took place around Indianapolis, according to manager/drummer Jeff Philippe. No one was reportedly injured in any of the vehicles, but damage was done to Philippe’s van and their U-Haul trailer when they were sandwiched between vehicles.

Pieces of their equipment were also damaged, including an acoustic guitar, a piece of Philippe’s vintage drum set and a vintage “impossible-to-find” amplifier.

But while they’ve got to track down some new equipment, and they were shaken up by the event, they’re going to keep on chooglin’ as CCR might have said.

“We’ve got no choice but to choog on harder,” said Philippe.
