The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting at SC Boats in celebration of their new Wilmington location at 185 Park Drive. After 17 years, SC Boats decided to expand and move its boat manufacturing business to Wilmington. Originally known as SolidCraft Boats, the company diversified in 2011 and became SC Boats. Over the last 17 years, the company has grown at an increasing rate with a boat presence throughout the Midwest, South and now reaching as far west as New Mexico. Known for their double-decker pontoon boat, SC Boats has developed a following for the pontoon enthusiast that wants to have fun.
