The Unified Christian Men’s Chorus will be in concert on Sunday, June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Martinsville Church of Christ on Main Street in Martinsville, Clinton County.

The chorus is in its fifth year, and is comprised of 35 men from Clinton, Fayette and Highland counties. The primary focus of this chorus is Gospel Music.

“The men sing timeless classics, uplifting and inspiring gospel songs, and rousing versions of our nation’s rally cries and heart-warmers. The four-part harmony and the sweet melodies will offer those in attendance an opportunity to sing along,” said a spokesperson.

In addition to the men’s group, Patrick Roush, a local country singer-songwriter from Lynchburg will be featured. Roush, now 22, will graduate this year from Morehead State University. Recently, Roush released his debut, all-original album titled “Stronger” which has sold hundreds of copies in stores and online.

This June concert is open to the public, and there is no admission fee.

“If you like Gospel Music sung by male voices, you won’t want to miss this event,” the spokesperson added.

Later this year, the men’s choral group will be featured at The Murphy Theatre’s “Veterans Remembrance” show on Sunday, Nov. 12.
