Gary Huffenberger in his July 27 column has advocated that Christians not “frown upon a caring relationship between persons who desire to be one another’s life partner.” We trust he will feature some alternate opinions reflecting the long-standing disapprobation of homosexual sexual acts (a.k.a. sodomy) in law, culture, and tradition.

One must have overwhelming cause and evidence for some good in proposing the undoing of long-standing tradition. Moreover, if that tradition is grounded in or directly reflects Truth! Well then, duh. Stick with it and forget the New Thing, whatever it is!
