Ethel B. Dennis, born June 26, 1925, passed away peacefully at Oak Lawn Farm Nov. 22, 2015 after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Lucille Barrett, who were lifelong residents of this area. In addition to her parents, her husband, attorney, State Representative, and State Senator Max H. Dennis, and her older brother Briggs Barrett, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her four children, Dianne (Herman) Statham, Jeffrey (Peg) Dennis, Meredith (Bill) McCoy, and Joseph (Linda) Dennis; a brother, Marvin Barrett; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to Community Care Hospice and Guardian Angels for their kind and helpful assistance over the last several years of Ethel’s life.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1024, Wilmington, OH 45177 or to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, OH 45177.
