Stuckert watches out for Wilmington

Unfortunately, previous city council members decided that the policy of “borrowing from Peter to pay Paul” was not only the correct way to conduct Wilmington’s city business, but the most expedient as well. This Wilmington resident disagrees wholeheartedly.

Fortunately, Loren Stuckert has never been one of those council members. Loren is not afraid of the repercussions that come from speaking up. He is simply there to represent the community and make sure everyone has the facts so they can make an intelligent decision. While he served as my 2nd Ward representative, he regularly checked in or I could give him my opinion before council so he knew how I felt. I was not the only one he did this for; it was standard operation procedure for him.

As a father of five children, I believe Loren learned early on the logic of budgeting as well as the necessity of adhering to that budget. Throughout his years in public service, he has indeed retained those lessons and voted on our city’s issues accordingly.

We rely on elected officials to appropriate our tax dollars to the most needed projects first, and within budget. Loren Stuckert has consistently done this. So this voter supports him 100 percent and plans to “Stick with Stuckert!”
