‘Student body need our leader back’

Open letter to Mr. Dean Lynch,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Miranda Young. I am a student of Blanchester High School. I must say I love these schools and I am proud to be a Blanchester Wildcat. Tuesday, Nov. 24, my principal, Mr. Hosler, was put on paid administrative leave and is currently being investigated for something that you will not disclose to the community. We deserve answers. We all love our principal very dearly and it does not sit well with us that you have pulled him away from our school.

I started going to Blanchester High School in 2013. I was an incoming freshman and scared to death of starting high school. I went to the Freshman Orientation and was greeted with a firm handshake and a big smile from Mr. Hosler. I felt so comfortable talking to him and assessing my options. Throughout my years in Blanchester, I have found that there is no better principal than Rick Hosler. He knows almost all of our names and respects who we are. He takes pride in us. When Mr. Hosler gives us a speech at our assemblies, he lights a fire in our bellies that makes us want to change the world. I have been to over 12 schools in my life. No other principal has lit this kind of fire in us.

Thank you for your time, Mr. Lynch. I hope you take the above statements into consideration. Thank you for any action you may take in the future. Our student body needs our leader back.

Miranda Young
