Blanchester MS girls 2nd, boys 3rd at CNE

OWENSVILLE – The Blanchester Middle School girls track and field team finished as runnersup Wednesday at the Clermont Northeastern Invitational.

The Blan girls were second out of five teams. The Blanchester boys were third overall.

Ty Goodwin was first in the high jump and second in the 200-meter hurdles. Dustin Trace finished first in the 200-meter dash. Isaiah Williams was third in the 400-meters and fifth in the high jump.

Collin Elston was first in the discus and fifth in the shot put. Levi Montgomery finished as runnerup in the 1,600-meter run. Blake Willey finished fifth in the 110-meter high hurdles.

The 4×100-meter relay team of Dylan Short, Willey, Goodwin and Grace finished first overall while Short, Mongtomery, Willey and Williams were runnersup in the 4×400 relay.

For the young Ladycats, Aubrey Stevens set a school record while winning the 100-meter dash in 13.7 seconds. She was runnerup in the 200-meter dash.

Emily Koch posted a PR in the long jump and was runnerup and also second in the high jump. Macey Waldron was fourth in the long jump.

Shelbie Panetta was third in the shot put and third in the 200 hurdles.. Olivia Potts was second in the discus and fourth in the shot put. Ainsley Whitaker was first in the discus with a personal best throw.

Chloe Barnes was sixth in the 100 and Carolyn Koch was fourth in the 1,600. Madison Tipton was second in the 400 while Mya Huston was sixth in the 400.

Hailey Mulvihill was second in the 800 and Gracyn Phillips was fifth in the 800. Zoey Hupp was sixth in the 200-meter dash. Annalee Miller-Steffen posted a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles.

The 4×400 relay of Kaylee Coyle, Emma Damewood, Tipton and Mulvihill finished second while Barnes, Layla Winemiller, Savannah Haggerty and Whitaker were fourth in the 4×200. The 4×100 team of Coyle, Waldron, Whitaker and Stevens finished third.
