OWENSVILLE – Madilyn Newton scored 25 points to lead the Clinton-Massie reserve girls basketball team to a 43-22 win over Anderson Monday in the Clermont Northeastern Girls Reserve Basketball Holiday Classic.

Newton had 11 points in the second quarter as the Lady Falcons outscored the Lady Redskins 19-4. Massie led 25-12 at halftime.

In the third period, Newton had 10 as CM extended its lead to 39-20.

Haley Conley and Alana Smith had 4 points each for Ed Machado’s reserve team. Piper Hurlburt and Brook Britain had 3 points each. Emily Ireland and Sydney Leary scored 2 points each.
