The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team defeated Goshen 24-17 Wednesday night.

Lana Roy led Blanchester with 9 steals and 8 rebounds, 5 of those on the offensive end.

The young Ladycats started strong and controlled the game throughout, coach Mike Cook said, and were led in scoring by Brinli Crosley, Casey Kingsland, Noelani Tangonan and Maddie Wells, who all had 6 points each. Wells also had 5 offensive rebounds.
