Wilmington City Recreation Department youth soccer registration is underway through July 22.

Children in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to participate.

Online registration is available at: (http://bit.ly/springsoccer2019). The link can be found on the Wilmington OH Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

Forms also are available at the athletic coordinator’s office at J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park.

The league schedule will be determined by the number of teams per grade level. Coaches are to contact players no later than Aug. 10. Clinics for all participants also will be scheduled at a later date.

Practices are allowed to begin Aug. 12. Games are planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays, but those days could change depending on the number of participants. League play is set to begin Sept. 3, weather permitting.

Cost is $30 for Wilmington residents; $15 each additional child in a family. Or $40 for residents who live outside Wilmington and $20 for each additional child in a family. Payment received after July 22 will be assessed a $10 late fee.

Payment and registration forms can be mailed to City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation, 69 N. South St. Payment also can be made in person at the athletic coordinator’s office at J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park.

Checks should be made payable to City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation. There will be a $30 charge for returned checks.
