BELLBROOK — Led by tournament Most Valuable Wrestler Jacob Boldman, Wilmington finished as runnersup Saturday at the Bellbrook Invitational.

Boldman remained unbeaten this season at 10-0 with three wins en route to the 132-pound championship. Boldman decisioned Max Neiling of Bellbrook 11-1 in the 132 final.

Madison finished with 178 points while Wilmington had 162. Bellbrook was third and followed by Ryle (Ky.), Tuprin, Hillsboro, Fairborn, Kenton Ridge, Northridge and Bethel.

Isaac Allen at 145 and Allister Brausch at 160 pounds also won their individual weight classes.

Brausch was a 13-3 winner over Jacob Farler of Madison in the 160 championship bout.

There were not enough wrestlers at 145 to make a complete bracket so a round-robin format was used and Allen had no trouble going 3-0 with a pair of pins for his first tournament title at the varsity level.

Cameron Smart was the runnerup at 106 pounds. Smart lost by pin to Aaron Brossart of Ryle in the finals.

Bryant Bergefurd was runnerup at 152 pounds. Bergefurd lost 6-4 in the championship match to Cameron Svarda of Madison.

RJ Tolliver at 182, Briten Kessler at 195 and Gage Smith at 220 pinned their way to third-place finishes in their respective weight classes.

Doug Eastes was fourth at 170 pounds.
