EC reserve girls top Wilmington

The East Clinton reserve girls basketball team defeated Wilmington 34-28 Saturday night at the WHS gym.

Sierra Christian led East Clinton (8-5 on the year) with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Lacey Peterman had three points and two rebounds and Gracie McCarren had seven points and seven rebounds. Miranda Beener had three points and eight rebounds. Kaitlyn Talbott had four points. Kayla Hall and Bre Davis had two points each. Kaitlin Durbin scored a free throw.

On Wednesday, East Clinton defeated Hillsboro 42-27.

Durbin led the way with 11 points and six rebounds. Christian had six points and six rebounds. Davis had seven points and three rebounds. Beener had a point and three steals.

Hall and Talbott had four points each. Peterman had two points. McCarren had four points and four rebounds. Paige Lilly had three points and three rebounds.
