John Cline 23-0 as ECJH wrestlers 5th at ’Burg

WILLIAMSBURG — Running his record to 23-0, East Clinton eighth grader John Cline won the 142 pound weight class Saturday at the Williamsburg Junior High Invitational.

Cline went 4-0 with four pins to capture the 142 title. He has won three consecutive tournaments, coach Andrew Ramsey said.

Brayden Dotson also was 4-0 with four pins, taking first at 160 pounds.

As a team, the Astros were fifth overall.

Josh Cline was 4-1 and finished second at 134 pounds. Brendon Walters was 3-1 with two pins and finished third at 128 pounds. Kamrin Debord was fifth at 80 pounds and Nathan Vest was fifth at 150 pounds. Hayden Pirman was sixth at 142 and Toby Morgan was sixth at 150.
