Young ’Cats gun down G-Men

The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Georgetown 57-41 Tuesday night.

The young Wildcats outrebounded the G-Men 32-13 and shot 61 percent from the field, coach Tom Greve said.

Between the two teams, 18 3-pointers were made.

Brayden Sipple had 29 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five blocked shots for Blanchester, now 6-3 on the year.

Trenton Czaika had 10 points and Brody Rice tossed in eight points and hauled down seven rebounds. Logan Heitzman had five points while Colton Wilson chipped in three and Brian Miller scored two. Bryce Highlander had seven rebounds and three assists.
