CHILLICOTHE — The Clinton-Massie reserve girls basketball team defeated Chillicothe 22-19 Thursday night at the CHS gym.

Madilyn Newton had 7 of her game-high 11 points in the second half.

Sydney Leary made five free throws, all in the first half for Clinton-Massie. Haley Conley, Faith Cottrell and Alana Smith had two points each for the Lady Falcons.

Massie was 10 for 20 at the free throw line for the game and only 1 for 8 in the final quarter.

Meliah Johnson led Chillicothe with seven points, all in the first half.

The Lady Cavaliers were 9 for 16 at the free throw line.
