Broncos stay on top with 4-set win over Falcons

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Western Brown maintained its hold on first place in the SBAAC American Division with a 20-25, 20-25, 26-24, 18-25 win Wednesday over Clinton-Massie.

The Lady Falcons were in second coming in to the match. They are 9-6 overall and 4-2 in the American.

The Broncos are 12-4 overall and 6-0 in the division.

“Had some great plays and volleys, just fell on the short side of things,” CM coach Stephanie Reveal said.

Reveal said Holly Young and Courtney Fisher came off the bench to play well in crucial points of the match and served extremely well.

“That’s hard to do and both girls did a great job,” said Reveal. “They gave me their all and that’s all I can ask.”

Kennedy Thompson had five points, 35 assists, an ace and 17 digs.

Delany Miller had six points, 10 kills and 19 digs. Rylee Richardson finished with three points, 12 kills, an assist, 14 digs and five blocks. Cadin Reveal recorded four points, 18 kills, an assist, an ace, 24 digs and four blocks.

Carly Moritz had five points, five kills and 20 digs. Courtney Fisher had nine points and a dig. Hannah Doss totaled four points, an assist and two aces. Mackenzie Peters was credited with four kills and a block.
