Big 2nd lifts BHS JV boys against Felicity

FELICITY — After a tight first quarter, Blanchester’s reserve basketball team surged ahead in the second quarter Saturday in a 50-25 win over Felicity.

The game was tied at 11 after one quarter. Blanchester outscored Felicity 15-4 in the second quarter. Any Cardinal comeback hopes were dashed in the fourth as the Wildcats outscored them 12-2.

Jacob Burden led a balanced Blanchester attack with nine points. Ian Heeg added seven points. Brant Bandow, Wesley Mitchell and Lane Heeg each scored six points. Eric Patton chipped in five points. Clayton Guy and Preston Griffin each scored four points. Blake Baker scored three points.
