CENTERVILLE — Wilmington High School’s boys bowling team finished fifth Saturday in the Centerville Elks Invitational at Poelking South.
The Lady Hurricane placed 12th overall.
For the girls, Ariel Comberger had a 501 three-game series despite a 134 final game. Her 193 was the high game for the Lady Hurricane.
On the boys side of things, all five WHS bowlers had 500-plus series. Jordan Tackett finished atop the list with a 578 series. He had a 206 game. Jordan Macik had the single high game of 214. Grant Pickard bowled a 201 game.
The Hurricane had an uneven set of 10 baker games with five games at 159 or below and five games at 170 or higher.
Clinton-Massie was 17th in the boys competition and 16th in the girls standings. No individual scores were available for CM bowlers.
