BATAVIA — In the fourth match of the week, the East Clinton bowling team split with Bethel-Tate at Batavia Bowl in SBAAC National Division competition.

In the boys victory over the Tigers, Freddy Morgan led the Astros with a 358 (170, 188) series and Patrick Dotson added a 349 (172, 177). Grant Wisecup had a 169 game.

The girls “seemed a little tired” from the four-match stretch and were defeated by Bethel-Tate. East Clinton fell behind after the first game by nearly 200 pins before making a come back that fell short, coach Joe Davis said.

August Morgan topped the Astros with a 289 series (140, 149) while Josie Runk had a 146 game.
