East Clinton reserve girls now 12-6

The East Clinton reserve girls basketball team defeated Whiteoak 70-30 Tuesday night in a non-league.

Miranda Beener had a season-high 19 points, six steals and six rebounds. Sierra Christian had 16 points and seven rebounds.

Gracie McCarron had 10 points and four rebounds. Kaitlyn Talbott had eight points and six rebounds. Lacey Peterman had five points. Kaitlin Durbin had five points and three steals. Paige Lilly had two points. Kayla Hall had three points and four rebounds. Bre Davis had two points.

East Clinton, coached by Bill Bean, is 12-6 on the year.

On Saturday, the Lady Astros defeated Clinton-Massie 39-31.

Christian finished with 11 points and eight rebounds. McCarron had 10 points and five rebounds. Lilly had nine points and three steals. Beener had three points, three steals and four rebounds. Lacey Peterman had three rebounds. Talbott had two points. Hall had one point and four rebounds. Durbin had two points. Davis had one point and five rebounds.

Last Thursday, East Clinton defeated Madison-Plains 48-27.

Christian led the way with 16 points and six rebounds. McCarron added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Beener scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds. Davis had three points and six rebounds. Talbott tossed in six points and Durbin had three points. Lilly scored two points. Hall had one point and seven rebounds.
