Blanchester 8th grade boys win first 43-37

The Blanchester Middle School boys basketball teams split with Clermont Northeastern Wednesday.

The eighth grade its first game of the season 43-37.

Bryce Sipple and Jansen Wymer combined for 26 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocked shots.

Xander Culberson had five points and four rebounds. Cole Bradley totaled four points and five rebounds while Quentin Rice had three points.

Bill Hamm chipped in with three points and two assists. Caleb Brown had two points and pulled in four rebounds. Nick Taylor grabbed seven rebounds.

The seventh grade was defeated 30-29.

Nainoa Tangonan led BMS with nine points.

Evan Malott added seven and Bryce Burress finished with four. Levi Turner and Kaden Cromer contributed three points each. Cole Mueller had two points. Dameon Williams scored one point.
