WB ends BHS boys 7-game win streak

WILMINGTON — Western Brown ended Blanchester’s seven game boys bowling win streak Monday with a 2,452 to 2,092 win at Royal Z Lanes.

The Wildcats (7-2 on the year) remain unbeaten and tied with Georgetown atop the SBAAC National Division standings.

The Blanchester girls were defeated by Western Brown 1,724 to 1,204. Aleah Wells led the Wildcats with 235 while Bri Haun had a 193. Leeann Stannus finished at 179 and Jill Hudson had 177. Kylie Campbell and Madison Pembleton also bowled for Blanchester.

For the BHS boys, Josh Allen had a 437 series to lead the way. Bryan Brewer had 350 and Orin Potts had 346. Carter Stevens totaled 264. Dakota Abney and Taylor Cochran also bowled for Blanchester.
