Blanchester 7th, 8th grade boys split with Massie

The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams split games Monday with Clinton-Massie.

The eighth grade Wildcats were defeated by Clinton-Massie 43-42.

Bryce Sipple and Jansen Wymer led Blanchester with 16 points and seven rebounds each.

Cole Bradley had eight points, four rebounds and 11 blocked shots. Bill Hamm rounded out the scoring with two points. Nick Taylor grabbed seven rebounds.

Blanchester’s seventh grade team defeated a previously unbeaten Falcons squad 40-26, according to coach Mike Malott.

Dameon Williams had 14 to lead the BHS offense.

Nainoa Tangonan had eight points and Cole Mueller finished with seven. Evan Malott had five points and Bryce Burress chipped in with four. Kaden Cromer rounded out the scoring with two points.
