BHS girls close out championship season tonight

For the first time since the 1988-89 season, the Blanchester High School varsity girls basketball team won a league championship.

The Ladycats are 18-3 overall and 9-1 in the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division. The league title is the first for a team other than Georgetown in the last 15 years.

Blanchester will close out the regular season 6 p.m. tonight at Felicity High School against Goshen, SBC American Division champions, in the SBC Crossover event.
