WHS bowlers fall to Moeller, MND

BLUE ASH — The Wilmington High School boys and girls bowling team dropped non-league matches Wednesday at Crossgate Lanes.

The boys lost to Moeller 2,583 to 2,570.

Sawyer Kratzer had a 411 series that included a 240 game. Ryan Hottinger had games of 200 and 199 to finished with a 399 series.

Josh Cordy had a 216 game while Andrew Thompson had a 185 and Tristan Reiley had a 182.

The girls were defeated by Mt. Notre Dame.

Harlee Shelton had her high game of the year with a 185. She started the game with five strikes, coach Joe Davis said.

Sarah Waln had a 184 game and Chasity Asher bowled a 170.

Wilmington will wrap up its regular season Friday with Senior Night festivities at Royal Z Lanes that will include Clinton-Massie and Greeneview. All three schools use Royal Z Lanes as their home venue during the season.

Hurricane bowlers will compete in the sectional next week with the boys going to Crossgate Lanes 9 a.m. Wednesday and the girls going to Crossgate 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18.
