LEES CREEK — The Rodger O. Borror Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Hillsboro 50-35 in the semifinal round of the South Central Ohio League tournament at East Clinton High School.

The young Hurricane will face Chillicothe for the tournament championship 6:30 p.m. Monday at ECHS.

The ROB eighth graders led 11-3 early and never looked back.

Brady Evans had 21 points, 12 of those coming in the fourth quarter as the Hurricane put the game away.

Jack Murphy and Chris Custis had eight points each. Conner Mitchell and Blake Rhodehamel had four points each. Jordan Macik and Tyler Parks also scored for ROB.
