Free drive-in fireworks at Coney Island

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds and PNC Bank are excited to offer a free Reds, White & Blue drive-in fireworks show at Coney Island on Friday, July 3.

Guests will stay in their vehicles to watch the Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks show starting at 10 p.m. from Coney Island’s West Parking Lot. (gates open at 8:30 p.m.)

“Fireworks Fridays are always one of the most popular events at the ballpark and we are partnering with PNC Bank to provide that same fun and energy through a spectacular show at Coney Island to kick off Independence Day weekend,” said Phil Castellini, Reds President & COO.

All vehicles will need a free Reds, White & Blue viewing ticket to enter the Coney Island West Parking Lot. Guests without a ticket will not be permitted entry.

Each free ticket will admit one standard passenger car or truck. (RVs not permitted.)

Please note a limited number of free tickets are available, and parking is based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Free Reds tattoos presented by PNC Bank will be distributed to kids and families upon entry.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the start of our Independence Day weekend with the oldest team in Major League Baseball,” said Kay Geiger, PNC regional president for Cincinnati. “As we anxiously await the start of the season, we look forward to being a part of a fun evening, while following safety and social distancing measures.”

The show will start at 10 p.m. and is expected to be full. Gates open at 8:30 p.m.

Guests will be instructed to tune their car stereos or portable radios to an FM frequency to hear the patriotic-themed soundtrack.

Fans can claim tickets at reds.com/fireworksshow. (one ticket only per vehicle)

All tickets will be delivered digitally via the free MLB Ballpark app to be shown from your smartphone at the event. The app is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.

The show will go on rain or shine. Event and schedule subject to change.

Guests must adhere to all Coney Island park rules and policies as well current CDC and state/local guidelines regarding social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
