Massie gains much-needed win over Greenon

ENON — The Clinton-Massie volleyball team defeated Greenon 25-20, 25-12, 25-18 Monday in a non-league match at GHS.

With the “much-needed win,” coach Stephanie Reveal said, the Lady Falcons are 6-8 on the season.

“We are young and are having a hard time letting mistakes go and then continuing to let them eat at us,” Reveal said. “So this win was much needed. We are a super talented team, we just have to start believing in ourselves again. I have no doubt in their ability to play the game.”

Kinsey Beam had four points, five kills, three aces and two digs. Cailyn Crain had 10 points, two kills, five aces and seven digs. Courtney Fisher finished with a dig. Natalee Hillman led with 11 points to go along with three kills, five aces and five digs.

Mackenzie Peters had three kills. Cadin Reveal contributed seven points, 15 kills, five aces, nine digs and three blocks. Kennedy Thompson had nine points, 25 assists, two aces and four digs. Holly Young had a point and nine digs in the match.
