WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School tennis team closed out its regular season with a 3-2 loss to Miami Trace on the WHS courts.

“A fun night for all the seniors to play doubles together,” WHS coach Doug Cooper said. “A big win for sophomore Chandni Sharma at first singles with Jenna (Taylor) and Claire (Burns) with a night off resting for sectionals (which began) Monday. Always fun to play Miami Trace. They have always played us tough over the years.”

In addition to Sharma’s win at first singles, Emilee Pham and Gracie Conger were victorious at first doubles.
