The Blanchester boys bowling team finished third in the SBAAC National Division last season, trailing only Georgetown and Williamsburg.

But the BHS squad lost its top two bowlers to graduation — first team All-SBAAC Josh Allen and second team All-SBAAC Orin Potts. Allen averaged 200 last year while Potts came in at 175.

Returning bowlers are Bryan Brewer, Carter Stevens, Dakota Abney, Brian Miller and Jacob Shelton. Newcomer to note is Ryan Brewer.

On the girls side, Blanchester was seventh in the league.

Brianna Haun was the top bowler last year but she graduated. Her average was 116. Jill Richardson also was a member of the Class of 2020.

Returning bowlers are Madison Pembleton and Kylie Campbell. Newcomers are Caili Baumann, Mariah Lanham, Makayla Lanham.
