The East Clinton seventh grade girls basketball team lost to Clinton-Massie Monday 32-13.

Keira Null had 8 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Astros.

Emily Arnold had 5 points and 6 rebounds while Hayley Carroll finished with 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Carly Bazaldua had 5 rebounds. Madison Balon grabbed 3 rebounds and Kaylin Childers hauled in 4.

Coach Angie Collom said East Clinton, who hosts Wilmington Wednesday, improved its play from the previous game with a lot of heart and hustle.
