RIGHT NOW I LIKE

Our defensive play. We are maintaining our focus and understanding pre-pitch assignments. If we are capable of making the routine play this season we will be very competitive.

RIGHT NOW WE NEED TO IMPROVE

On getting ahead of hitters and pitching to contact. Anyone can hit when you fall behind.

WHO WILL BE THE TEAM TO BEAT IN SBCN

Williamsburg has a hand-full of starters returning as well. They were very talented last year and I suspect they will be ready to compete again this season.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT TEAM, SEASON

I am very excited to get this season underway. This group of kids has been very fun to work with up to this point. They show up willing to work hard every day and always have an open mind to learn. With this group I only need to say something once and they are capable of taking it to the dirt. I am anxious to see how we match up with other teams on our schedule.
