WILLIAMSBURG — The East Clinton varsity wrestling team competed in a quad at Williamsburg on Saturday with Williamsburg, West Union and Bethel-Tate.

The Astros went 0-3 as a team for the day and won 4 out of 15 matches individually.

Cooper Rack (126) and Jaden Singleton (220) lead the team, both going 2-1 with 2 pins each.

“Right now, we are happy to be wrestling and know that we still have a lot of work to do to be where we want to be,” head coach Doug Stehlin said. “January is going to be packed with matches so we are going to continue to work hard and focus on getting better.”
