BLANCHESTER — Felicity ended a four-game losing streak Saturday with a 55-45 win over Blanchester in SBAAC National Division girls basketball action.

Blanchester drops to 1-9, 0-7. Felicity is 4-4, 3-3.

Olivia Potts scored 17 of her game-high 21 points in the first half.

Anna Swisshelm led Felicity 20 points, after scoring just two in the first quarter. Angela Jones finished with 19, including four three-pointers.

After a 26-26 first half, the Cardinals pulled away in the third quarter and never trailed, BHS coach Bradon Pyle said.

“Even though we lost, we are playing better basketball than at any point in the season,” said Pyle. “We are starting to see our shots fall a little more and we are taking better care of the basketball. If we can continue to improve through the remainder of the season, I’m anticipating we will get a few more wins the rest of the way.”
