Adena hands East Clinton JV girls first loss

FRANKFORT — The East Clinton junior varsity girls basketball team suffered its first defeat of the season Saturday to Adena, 36-20.

East Clinton (11-1 on the year) lost the game despite leading after one, 8-4, and at halftime, 11-10.

Adena outscored East Clinton 15-4 in the third period and put the game away with an 11-4 fourth quarter.

Jayden Murphy was top scorer for the Astros with eight points.

Lauren Runyon had six points while Jordan Collom, Jozie Jones an Kelsi Lilly had two points each.
